Dejan Majstorovic played a key part in helping Serbia’s Ub Huishan NE to win the International Basketball Federation 3x3 World Tour Prague Masters - a record sixth straight victory in a single season.

Majstorovic scored 13 points in the final as the top seeds defeated Riga 21-17 after a highly competitive match that had a dramatic conclusion.

With just under four minutes to go it looked as if Ub were in a winning position as they led 17-13, but Riga resisted and a layup from Edgar Krumins enabled them to draw level at 17-17.

Cometh the minute, cometh the man, as Majstorovic, who had netted four twos at that point in the game, stepped it up.

A deep two followed along with a foul, sending him to the free-throw line for two all-important opportunities.

The veteran Serb converted both to hand Ub a historic win in Prague.

Majstorovic won his first Most Valuable Player award for the season, finishing the event with 43 points, 13 of them coming in the final.

Ub, the defending champions, equalled the record number of wins in a season by winning their fourth consecutive Masters title and created a clear record with victory at the last event in the series in Edmonton.

In the Individual contests, Riga's Arturs Strelnieks won the CEPS shootout contest, while Denmark’s Bartosz Szwed won the chance dunk contest.

In the final standings, Antwerp TOPdesk of Belgium finished third, China’s Beijing fourth and Amsterdam HiPRO of The Netherlands fifth.

The World Tour is next due to next to Switzerland for the Lausanne Masters due to take place on August 18 and 19.
