Zhihao Zhang, Shujie Chai and Aobo Chen notched a score of 1,747 in the men's team 25 metres rapid fire pistol final at the Changwon International Shooting Range.

Zifei Wang, Xinyi Fan and Jiale Zhang posted a score of 1,892.0 in the women's team 10m air rifle, Xiaoxue Li, Zifei Wang and Shuang Luo amassed 1,866.8 in the women's team 50m rifle prone and Qianxun Yao, Siyu Wang and Yiyao Shen recorded 1,724 in the women's team 10m air pistol.

Individual winners for China were Shiwen Wang in the men's 25m rapid fire pistol, Li in the women's 50m rifle prone, Qingyi Zuo in the women's 25m pistol and Shushan Wu in the women's 25m standard pistol.

Their other golds came in the men's team 10m air pistol, men's team 25m pistol, men's team 25m standard pistol and the mixed team 10m air pistol.

Other notable performances came with a world junior record score of 1,745 for Poland's Michal Chojnowski, Wiktor Sajdak and Maciej Ogorek in the men's team 50m rifle three positions and a world junior record 1,743 in the women's team 25m pistol for the hosts South Korea through Jiin Yang, Minseo Kim and Dajung Nam.

Thirteen countries earned gold medals at the ISSF Junior World Championships, with Ukraine on five the next-best performer after China and India.

Kazakhstan, Italy and the United States all earned four golds, with South Korea taking three at their home event.

France, Switzerland, Norway and Slovakia earned two apiece, with Poland and Hungary claiming one each.

The ISSF Junior World Championships is open to athletes aged less than 21 at the end of this year.

China topped the medals table at the inaugural edition in Moscow in 2017, with India leading the way in Lima two years ago.
