An all-Uzbek battle then took place between Muso Sobirov and Sharofiddin Boltaboev for the bronze medal.

It did not last long, however, as Sobirov threw his countryman to the ground for a 27-second ippon victory.

Competition is due to continue tomorrow with the women's under-78kg and over-78kg events as well as the men's under-90kg, under-100kg, and over-100kg.
