Overview of the role

Dunsar Media are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated apprentice to provide administrative support with a view to a long-term career with us. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

You will work in a small team to support the daily office functions:

  • Book appointments, such as company car MOTs.
  • Collate invoices, create monthly folder, and liaise with the accountant for payment each month.
  • Maintain the CRM, shared calendar, and records.
  • Maintain the global database for magazine distribution.
  • Research and arrange accommodation and book flights, trains and taxis with booking agent.
  • Schedule and post social media updates on behalf of the team.
  • Maintain up to date staff HR records, such as holiday requests, pay rise letters etc.
  • Check invoices and raise contract for sales.

 Skills and experience required

  • GCSE grade 9 - 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • 3 A levels or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of main social media platforms: Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Organisational and time management skills – ability to prioritise and plan ahead.
  • Interpersonal skills, ability to interact appropriately with team members, customers and clients.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Training to be Provided

Over the course of your 18- month Business Administration Apprenticeship, you’ll split your time between MK College completing the knowledge and competency qualifications of the programme and on the job training at Dunsar Media Company. 

Future Prospects

We aim to offer a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship qualification.
