The World Taekwondo Championships is the flagship World Taekwondo competition. It attracts hundreds of the world's best athletes from all around the globe and showcases the very best in taekwondo competition.

Baku in Azerbaijan will host the next edition between May 29 and June 4 in 2023.

2023 World Taekwondo Championships - Baku

Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan's capital hosted the 2023 World Championships. South Korea topped the medal standings with three golds and a silver.

2022 World Taekwondo Championships - Guadalajara

The 2022 World Taekwondo Championships were held at the Centro Acuático CODE Metropolitano in Guadalajara, Mexico. Mexico topped the medal table after winning three golds, one silver and two bronze.
