The International Blind Football Foundation (IBFF) has launched a special grant programme to help organisations deal with the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Organisations working in the field of visual impairment are invited to apply for funding before May 9.
The scheme, called the emergency support programme, will award grants of up to $2,000 (£1600/€1800) are provided for the acquisition of information technology equipment and communications, devices and services.
Applicants can be National Federations, non-governmental organisations or non-profit organisations.
They must provide a list of items to purchase, an annual report and an annual budget.
IBFF is a Japanese non-profit organisation that aims to harness the power and popularity of blind football.
One of the foundation’s first events was the International Blind Sports Federation women's blind football camp that took place in Tokyo last year.
