Olympic_Park_legacyOctober 30 - The long-term benefits of the London 2012 Games will be detailed in a series of lectures organised by the Olympic Park Legacy Company.


A number of events have been planned from November 18 to December 2 featuring a series of speakers from business, sport and education.

They will give people, including students and academics, the chance to hear first hand about the company's plans for the future Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, including the five new neighbourhoods and the future of the venues.

The events are free and open to everyone, though places are strictly limited to a first come first served basis.

Each lecture will have a series of panel presentations followed by audience question and answer sessions.

Lecture 1: How can future development plans for the Olympic Park help to transform the Heart of East London? November 18, 6.30pm-8.30pm, Cass Business School, City University, 106 Bunhill Row, London EC1Y 8TZ

Lecture 2: How can future plans for the Olympic Park create a blueprint for a sustainable London? November 25, 7pm-9pm, the University of Westminister, The Old Cinema, 309 Regent Street, London W1

Lecture 3: How can the sporting legacy of the London 2012 Games deliver lasting change to the East End of London? December 2, 6pm-8pm, the University of East London, Docklands Campus, University Way, London E16 2RD
