Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant century as India thumped Pakistan by 10 wickets to advance to the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 World Cup final.

Jaiswal showed why the Rajasthan Royals have picked him up to play in this year's Indian Premier League, making short work of Pakistan's total and sealing both the match and his hundred with a six.

Having won the toss at Potchefstroom in South Africa and chosen to bat, Pakistan made a steady start before collapsing to be all out for 172.

Opener Haider Ali and captain Rohail Nazir both made half-centuries, but only one of their team mates could add a score in double figures.

Pakistan's last six wickets went for just 26 runs.

Taking three wickets for 28 runs at less than four an over, Sushant Mishra was the pick of India's bowlers.

In response, Jaiswal and Divyaansh Saxena shared an unbeaten stand of 176 to reach the target with 88 balls to spare.

Saxena finished with 59 runs, somewhat overshadowed by his partner's total of 105.

Jaiswal took 113 balls to reach that total, hitting eight fours and two sixes.

Four-times champions India are in their third consecutive ICC Under-19 World Cup final and will face either Bangladesh or New Zealand, who meet in the second semi-final on Thursday (February 6).
