Czech Republic will face Sweden for the title at the Men's Under-19 World Floorball Championships after both teams came through their semi-finals in Halifax in Canada.

The Czech side maintained their 100 per cent record at the tournament by defeating Switzerland 9-4 at Zatzman Sportsplex.

Josef Juha starred for the Czech Republic as he netted a hat-trick, while Jonas Kreysa and Patrik Sebek both scored twice.

Jakub Bursik and Martin Rezac also found the net as the Czechs booked their place in the final in style.

Defending champions Finland had also won all their matches prior to the semi-finals but were comprehensively beaten 8-2 by Sweden.

The loss ended their hopes of retaining the title they clinched in 2017 and saw Sweden avenge the defeat they suffered to Finland in the final two years ago.

Victor Wettergren led the way for Sweden with three goals to ensure his side got the chance to go one better than their runners-up finish in 2017.

The tournament concludes tomorrow with the final and third place play-off.
