Mexican star Paola Longoria claimed gold medals in singles and doubles as the Pan American Racquetball Championships concluded in Colombia.

Longoria secured her ninth Pan American Championships singles title, and first since 2016, with a 15-7, 15-2 win over Maria Vargas of Argentina at the Parque de Racquetas La Castellana in Barranquilla.

The 29-year-old then teamed up with Samantha Salas to seal the doubles crown with a 15-8, 15-6 triumph in the final against Colombia's Adriana Riveros and Cristina Amaya.

Victory gave Longoria her seventh Pan American Championships doubles gold medal and further cemented her status as the top women's player in the region.

Longoria, World Championships silver medallist last year, claimed the two titles were "very important" for her career.

"I felt very good - Barranquilla and Colombia bring me good vibes," she said, according to El Universal.

"Here I won the gold medal in the Central American and Caribbean Games last year."

Bolivian Carlos Keller won the men's singles final as he beat American Charles Pratt 15-2, 8-15, 11-5.

The South American nation also earned the doubles crown as Roland Keller and Conrrado Moscoso fought back to overcome Canada's Coby Iwaasa and Samuel Murray 2-15, 15-9, 11-2.
