Slovenia ranked 10th in the medal table for the 2016 Winter YOG in Lillehammer, winning three gold and two bronze.

All three of the gold medals came in ski jumping as the country dominated the sport. 

Bor Pavlovčič and Ema Klinec won the respective men's and women's individual events and also joined forces with Vid Vrhovnik to claim the team title. 

In all, Slovenia had 20 competitors in seven sports.

At Innsbruck 2012, the country finished 16th in the medal table with one gold, four silver and two bronze.

Ski jumper Anže Lanišek was the sole gold medallist thanks to victory in the men's individual event.

Slovenia was represented by 21 athletes in nine sports.
