Iceland was represented by three athletes in two sports at the 2016 Winter YOG in Lillehammer - Alpine skiers Bjarki Gudjonsson and Holmfridur Fridgeirsdottir, and cross-country skier Dagur Benediktsson.

The country did not win any medals.

There were also no podium finishes for the nation at Innsbruck 2012, where it was also represented by three athletes in two sports - Alpine skiers Jakob Bjarnason and Helga Vilhjalmsdóttir, and cross-country skier Gunnar Birgisson.
