Paralympian Leo-Pekka Tähti has been named as Finland's Athlete of the Year for the fourth time in his career. 

The 35-year-old wheelchair racer has previously won the title in 2011, 2016 and 2017. 

Tähti won gold in the 100 metres, 200m and 400m T54 sprints at the European Athletics Championships in Berlin in August, and also claimed silver in the 800m.

"This is the best year of all time," Tähti said after winning his medals in Berlin.

The athlete is also a four-time Paralympic champion in the 100m and has five Paralympic golds in all.

He was named as Finland's Sports Personality of the Year in 2016, becoming the first Paralympian to claim the title.
