Rio 2016 champions Argentina will meet Belgium in a rematch of their Olympic final at the 2017 Men's Hockey World League Final in the Indian city of Bhubaneswar.

It comes after the International Hockey Federation released the group stage draw and schedule today.

Action is due to take place at the Kalinga Stadium, the venue which hosted the 2014 Champions Trophy.

The multi-purpose stadium, built in 2010, also has facilities for athletics, football, basketball, tennis, table-tennis and swimming.

This year's Hockey World League Final will take place between December 1 and 10 and will welcome seven teams, in addition to hosts India, who have qualified from various semi-final tournaments.

Pool A is comprised of Olympic champions Argentina, Rio 2016 silver medallists Belgium, European champions The Netherlands and Spain.

Argentina and Belgium are set to meet on December 2.

Reigning World Cup and World League champions Australia will begin their title defence in Pool B as they take on Rio 2016 bronze medallists Germany, hosts India and England.

The pool stages will run from December 1 to 5 and will be followed by the quarter-finals on December 6 and 7.

Following that classification matches and semi-finals will take place over the next two days before the bronze medal match and final bring the competition to a close on December 10.

Australia sealed the World League title in 2015 with a 2-1 win over Belgium in the final in Raipur.
