USBC President Frank Wilkinson is seeking re-election ©USBC

United States Bowling Congress (USBC) President Frank Wilkinson is one of three candidates to have been put forward to fill positions on the organisation's Board of Directors.

Wilkinson was elected to his current role by the Board in 2015, having served as vice-president of the organisation for two years.

As his term as the member of the Youth Committee will draw to a close, the incumbent will seek re-election at the USBC Convention and Annual Meeting in Las Vegas.

Mark Martin, who has been on the Board of Directors since 2010, is another incumbent who will be looking to extend his tenure.

Both candidates have been put forward for the positions by the USBC Nominating Committee, with the pair also being joined by Jeffrey Ussery.

Ussery will aim to become a Board member for the first time, with the candidate hoping his experience as vice-president of operations for BowlersMart will aid his chances of being elected.

In the build-up to the election on April 29, further nominees may be added by the Nominating Committee, with a maximum of two candidates per position.

The deadline for people to put themselves forward for consideration by the Committee is March 29.

The Convention and Annual Meeting is due to be held at The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
