Hosszu dominated at Dubai's Hamdan Sports complex, winning eight gold and a bronze just days after winning seven titles in Doha.

She also set three world records as the International Swimming Federation Swimming World Cup season began in the Qatari capital last week.

And despite just a few days of rest, Hosszu was in scintillating form once again.

Having broken the 200 metres individual medley world record in Doha, she repeated that feat in Dubai with a time of 2min 02.13sec - half-a-second up on her previous best.

She also again set a world record in the 100m individual medley, bringing her 57.25sec time down to a stunning 56.86.

The three-time world champion also won gold in the 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke, 200m freestyle, 200m butterfly and 400m individual medley.

It was not just Hosszu who was in world record mood at the second leg of the Swimming World Cup 2014.
