The Oman Olympic Committee has unveiled the logo for its ambitious "Sport for Development" project.
It aims to promote sport across all sections of society in Oman and is one of the Olympic Committees key aims for the future.
The logo launch followed a workshop held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in the capital Muscat, where the roles of 10 working committees was mapped out.
It also acted as a sounding board for ideas on how to improve the standard of sport in Oman and promote the country's athletes better.
The 10 committees are: Planning and Follow-up Committee, Olympic Solidarity Committee, Anti-Doping Committee, Women's Sports Committee, Athletes Committee, Sports for All Committee, Sports and Environment Committee, Sports Medicine Committee and Media Committee and Marketing Committee.
Specific objectives and programmes were assigned to each of the committees.
