The Pieter van den Hoogenband stadium in the Dutch city will host a week of competition from August 4 to 10.

A ticket for a full day of action can be bought for €6 (£4.87/$8.16), and a ticket for the whole competition is €26 (£21.13/$35.39), if bought in advance.

Spectators can save up to 15 per cent if they buy tickets online, the IPC has said.

The event will be the biggest Para-swimming competition of 2014 and will feature 500 athletes from 40 countries.

Dutch Paralympic gold medallist and reigning three-time world champion Marc Evers and four-time world champion Marlou van der Kulk are likely to star for the host nation.

"I will do everything to win," said 22-year-old Evers, who competes in the men's S14 class.

"I won three gold medals at the World Championships last year, so I know I am the one to beat and that the competition will be hard.

"But that's how I like it."

Ukraine topped the medals table at the last Swimming European Championships in the German capital Berlin in 2011.

Great Britain, who finished second in the medals table, have named a 31-strong team for Eindhoven.

The event takes place less than a year before the 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow, Great Britain.
