The pair join the top-seven ranked players in the men's and women's singles categories on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Wheelchair Tennis Tour rankings as of April 14 for the tournament in Paris which is due to take place from June 4 to 6.

Peifer is currently ranked number nine in the world and will be making his fifth appearance at Roland Garros.

His last outing in 2011 saw him reach the final of the singles competition, while taking the men's doubles title with partner Shingo Kunieda of Japan.

World number one Kunieda heads the list of entries in the men's competition this year as he goes in search of a fifth singles title at Roland Garros while he also has five doubles victories to his name.

The Japanese has lost out Stephane Houdet in the singles final for the past two years and the Frenchman, currently ranked second in the world, will once again be looking to impress on home soil.

Britain's Gordon Reid, Joachim Gerard of Belgium, Argentine Gustavo Fernandez, Maikel Scheffers of the Netherlands and another French player, Michael Jeremiasz complete the field.

On the women's side Famin will be making her first appearance at a Grand Slam in Paris and some consistent performances this year sees her currently ranked number 15 in the world.

She will be the sole female representative of France in the tournament, which will see Germany's Sabine Ellerbrock looking to make it two Roland Garros titles in-a-row after overcoming world number three Jiske Griffioen in last year's final.

That win was the German's first Grand Slam victory as she became only the second woman to lift the trophy following six consecutive wins for the now-retired Esther Vergeer of the Netherlands.

There will be a strong Dutch contingent again this year as Griffioen is joined by Aniek van Koot and Marjolein Buis with Japan's Yui Kamiji, South African Kgothatso Montjane and Jordanne Whiley of Great Britain completing the line-up.
