The new look and logo has been developed following discussions with the International Olympic Committee ©SVGOCFebruary 19 - A new logo has been unveiled by the St Vincent and The Grenadines Olympic Committee (SVGOC).

It draws on the national flag of the Caribbean country, and forms part of a new look for the Olympic Committee, which in September held elections for a new executive.

The logo is made up of the diamond-shaped symbols in the centre of the national flag.

Each of the three symbols is in the colours of the St Vincent and the Grenadines flag - blue yellow and green.

SVGOC was formed in 1982 and recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1987.

The country made its Olympic debut at the Summer Games at Seoul 1988.

It has appeared at every Summer Olympics since, but has never won a medal.

The nation is yet to appear at a Winter Olympics.

SVGOC said its new look and logo was formed "following discussions" with the IOC.
