Four professional strictly dancers - Pasha Kovalev, Iveta Lukosiute, Karen Hauer and Ian Waite - partnered with one of the four Paralympians as they took a break from their busy training schedules to raise money in aid of Sport Relief.

The judging panel will consist of usual strictly judges Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussel with 10-time Paralympic dressage champion Lee Pearson replacing Craig Revel Horwood.

The line-up was revealed on the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year Award show which saw Andy Murray claim the top accolade following his victory at Wimbledon earlier this year.

Cockroft was a contender for the award becoming the first Paralympian to be nominated outside of a Paralympic year.

The wheelchair athlete won two gold medals for Great Britain at the 2012 London Paralympic Games with victory in the T34 100 metre and 200m events, both in Paralympic record times.

In 2013 she retained her 100m and 200m titles at the World Championship in Lyon, having claimed the titles in Christchurch in 2011, before winning the T33/34 100m race at the London Anniversary Games at the Olympic Stadium in a Stadium record time of 17.80 seconds.
