Miklos GyulaiMay 4 - Miklós Gyulai, who has competed in both the Summer and Winter Olympics, has been re-elected as President of the Hungarian Athletics Federation (MASZ) for a second four-year term.

Gyulai, a competitor in the bobsleigh at Lillehammer in 1994 and the 4x100 metres relay in Sydney in 2000, polled 52 of the 54 votes.

The 42-year-old is the son of Istvan Gyulai, the late former general secretary of the International Association of Athletics Federations, and Olga Kazi, the 1962 European 800m bronze medallist.

His brother, Márton, represented Hungary in the bobsleigh at the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics.

Krisztián Pars London 2012Hungary's Krisztián Pars celebrates winning the Olympic gold medal in the hammer at London 2012

Hungary won one medal at last year's Olympics in London, a gold in the hammer thanks to Krisztián Pars.

But the build-up to London 2012 was marred by controversy after discus thrower Robert Fazekas tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol and was dropped from Hungary's team.

In 2004, Fazekas was stripped of his gold medal at the Athens Olympics for a doping offence.

He is now suing a Canadian supplement company, claiming that one of its products contained banned anabolic steroids, which caused him to test positive before London 2012.

Gyulai had claimed he felt "a bit deceived" by Fazekas after the second positive test, claiming he had "complete trust" in him.
