The LIVE BLOG is already well underway with action from the venues at Katara Beach, Al-Gharafa, the Aspire Zone and the Leqtaifiya Lagoon. We will also be on the scene reporting from tonight's Opening Ceremony at the Katara Amphitheatre with Philip Barker, the man who knows more about these kinds of events than anyone else.
More than 1,200 athletes from nearly 100 countries are taking part in the very first edition of the ANOC World Beach Games. We will be there for all of it with our LIVE BLOG until it closes on Wednesday October 16.
