Andy Murray_Wimbledon_2012July 22 - The draw for the London 2012 tennis tournament, which features both recent men's Wimbledon finalists Roger Federer and Andy Murray (pictured), will be staged at the All England Club on Thursday (July 26) with seedings based on the most up-to-date world rankings.

Sixty-four players will contest the singles, with 16 seeds in both the men's and women's events.

The men's and women's doubles will be contested by 32 teams, with eight seeded teams in both events.

The draw for the 16-team mixed doubles will be held during the tournament itself on July 31.

If there are two players or doubles teams from the same country, they will be drawn in opposite halves of the draw.

If there are three or more players from the same country in the singles event, they will be drawn in different quarters of the draw.

Rafael Nadal, who was to have carried the flag for Spain, will be conspicuous by his absence, having had to pull out through injury.
