93450212March 26 - Tickets for the showpiece finals of the 2013 Barclays ATP Tour have been released on sale as the world's top tennis players are set to face off at The O2 Arena in London once more, battling it out for a share of the increased $6 million (£4 million/€4.7 million) prize pot.


The world's biggest indoor tennis tournament is due to take place again in the British capital from November 4 until 11 this year, and will feature the top eight players from the Emirates ATP Rankings, which currently includes US Open champion Andy Murray, returning eleven-time grand slam winner Rafael Nadal, the timeless Roger Federer and reigning champion and world number one, Novak Djokovic.

"It's always one of the first goals you set yourself at the start of the year, to be able to qualify to compete in London in November at the season finale," said Djokovic

"It was an amazing feeling to finish the season by winning the title there last year, and I'll do everything I can to defend my title in 2013."

The Barclays ATP World Tour Finals have attracted over a million people to London's O2 Arena over the past four years, and with prize money increased by 10 per cent, the rewards on offer to the world's elite players are even more worth fighting for.

"London has been a fantastic host for our season-ending event and the fans have come out in huge numbers to support the world's best players." said tournament director Andre Silva.

"Last year, over 70,000 tickets had been sold after the first day of the public sale, so we urge fans to act quickly to ensure they don't miss out on what is shaping up to be another thrilling event."
