International Rugby Board IRB World Ruby Conference and Exhibition IRBWRCEJuly 19 - "Growing the Global Rugby Family" will be the focal point of the inaugural International Rugby Board (IRB) World Rugby Conference and Exhibition (IRBWRCE) to be held in Dublin in November.

The IRBWRCE conference, taking place on November 17-21 in the IRB's home city, is an opportunity for member unions, clubs and the rugby industry to discuss ways of maximising the profile of the sport, as rugby sevens prepares to re-join the Olympic programme next year at the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games followed by Rio 2016.

A line-up of speakers, themed discussions and panels designed to support and promote the future development of the game internationally, along with maximising elite performance in the sport, will support the two-day event.

Running alongside the IRB General Assembly and the IRB Medical Commission Conference, the event will also feature sessions detailing the IRB event programme, welcoming cities interested in hosting future IRB events, and allowing winning bid cities, including England which will host the 2015 Rugby World Cup, to provide an insight into their delivery plans.

"These are exciting times in rugby with unprecedented growth and interest around the world," Bernard Lapasset, chairman of the IRB, said.

"At the IRB we are committed to working with our member unions, teams, players, coaches, sponsors and businesses that invest money, time, energy and effort in the global development of the game, to leverage the positive impact from community level to the elite level.

"This exciting conference programme has been designed to benefit our stakeholders so that we may work together to create a bright future for our sport."

Details of speakers will be revealed at a later date.
