The online system helps Olympic athletes, performance staff, coaches and management coordinate training and performance programmes, share knowledge and work more efficiently.

The platform, developed by the Into Sport Group, has already been successfully utilised by England Netball, with a further five Olympic disciplines set to be announced early in 2011.

Vanquish will be provided to British Judo as a fully secure, hosted and supported software service, accessible through a regular internet browser.

It improves communication and knowledge sharing, from planning and recording detailed athlete training programmes to management of injury data and even delivery coach education videos and resources.

It also ensures that key staff have access to essential updates and information quickly and securely, providing tailor-made reports based on performance and training data.

Commenting on the three-year partnership, Margaret Hicks, performance director of British Judo, said: "Our mission is to produce world class athletes that are ready to perform at the highest level and win medals.

"In the build up to London 2012 our athletes and support teams will travel frequently, and often train in different locations around the country.
