The agreements also ensure the Championships, which is due to start on Sunday (January 12), will be shown in the entire Latin America Territory for the first time since the inaugural European Championships in Portugal in 1994.

Action from all 47 games will also be shown live and on-demand on the Championships YouTube channel as well as the latest video news and highlights.

"The EHF Euros are continuously on the rise in terms of television exposure – the 2012 Men's EHF Euro reached a cumulative audience of 1.47 billion," said Stephan Herth, executive director of summer sports at Infront sports & Media.

"Since then, together with the EHF, we have focused on further enhancing the media product and on delivering it to even more fans around the world.

"Together with the seven Official Sponsors of the event, we look forward to a global handball highlight followed by millions of fans."

Denmark's TV2, host broadcaster for the Championships, will provide high definition coverage of the action with content completed by high speed, super slow motion cameras and, in a first for the European Championships, the use of a SpiderCam in Denmark's group in Herning.

The European Championships' official website will also bring extensive news and picture from Denmark with a team of 25 journalists and photographers providing the latest news, match reports and blogs, as well as live streaming from all the 47 matches.

As well as broadcast deals, Infront Sports & Media have brokered agreements to allow seven official sponsors to be present at the Championships with each benefiting from extensive exposure both in Denmark and worldwide through sleeve, LED board and floor advertising, as well as logo integration in all print publications and on the official website.

These seven sponsors include Actavis, generic pharmaceuticals; AJ, office furniture; engelbert strauss, workwear; Grundfos, pump systems; Intersport, sports goods retailer; Outrup window/door manufacturer; and the 2015 International Handball Federation's (IHF) World Handball Championship in Qatar.

Commenting ahead of the start of the Championships, EHF President Jean Brihault said: "With the huge passion that the Danes have for handball, added to the fact that they are looking to defend their European title, I am sure that we are heading for one of the most exciting European Championships to date."
