o2-arena-london-roger-watersNovember 16 - The public will have a chance to get hold of tickets to London 2012 test events from tomorrow morning from as little as £5 ($8/€6).

At 10am the International Gymnastics event, which will take place at the North Greenwich Arena - being renamed temporarily for the Games from its usual name, the O2 arena - from January 10 until 18, will put tickets on sale, with prices ranging from £5 ($8/€6) to £20 ($31/€23).

Spectators could see the likes of the triple world champion Beth Tweddle at the event, which is an official qualification tournament for the London 2012 Olympic Games and will be split into three areas - artistic, trampoline and rhythmic gymnastics.

The second test event is the UCI Track Cycling World Cup, which will be the first time that Sir Chris Hoy, who won three gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and Victoria Pendleton, who also won gold at the same event, get a chance to race around the Velodrome in the Olympic Park.

The event takes place from February 16 until 19, and tickets are available for between £10 ($16/€12) and £40 ($63/€46).

Divers will take to the Aquatics Centre from February 20 until 26 to see the likes of Tom Daley (pictured) compete in the FINA Diving World Cup 2012.

It will serve as a qualification event for the Olympics, with tickets available from £5 ($8/€6), and the most expensive on offer for £30 ($47/€36).

"Throughout January and February we will deliver test events for three of the most popular Olympic sports," said Debbie Jevans, the London 2012 Director of Sport.

"With tickets on sale to the public this is a fantastic opportunity to see international competition, in some cases Olympic qualification events, within the Olympic venues where we will host the 2012 Games.

"With some of the best British sporting talent planning to compete there I'm in no doubt these tickets will sell out fast."
