WSB Boxing_4_AprilApril 4 - Dynamo Moscow will square up to Dolce & Gabbana Milano Thunder in the 2012 World Series Boxing (WSB) Team Final.

The showpiece finale will take place at the ExCeL Arena in London on May 2, just over a month before the Individual Championships on June 9 at the same venue.

The Russian outfit reached the final after defeating Astana Arlans, of Kazakhstan, 7-3 on aggregate over the two-legged semi-final and will now face the Italians who overcame Baku Fires, of Azerbaijan, 5-2 over two matches.

With the first leg clash of the Eastern titans having finished poised at 3-2 to Astana Arlans, the Dynamo Moscow fighters had to ensure they would be on top form on home ground – and they were, emphatically sweeping aside the Kazakhstan visitors to claim a 5-0 whitewash.

Bantamweight Anvar Yusunov, llightweight Adlan Abdurashidov, middleweight Maxim Gazizov (pictured), light heavyweight Oleksandr Gvozdyk and heavyweight Vitaly Kudukhov were Moscow's winning quintet.

The second leg of the other semi-final  – a foregone conclusion after the opening leg in Milan – was scarred by three pre-bout withdrawals:  two from hosts Baku Fires and one from Milano Thunder.

With the Italians' place in the final assured before a punch had been thrown, the  Azerbaijan club enjoyed the consolation of winning the two bouts that did take place – courtesy of bantamweight Magomed Kurbanov and lightweight Isa Isayev.

Prior to the leg, hosts Baku Fires lost light heavyweight Teymur Mammadov and heavyweight Denys Poyatsyka while Milano Thunder withdrew middleweight Sergiy Derevyanchenko.
