Coe warns that IAAF faces a major crisis

May 12 - Sebastian Coe, the 1980 and 1984 Olympic 1500 metres champion, today painted a picture of athletics as a sport standing on the edge of a major crisis that, if serious issues are not addressed, could threaten its future.

April 29 - Tyson Gay (pictured), who lost his world 100 metres title to Usain Bolt last summer, said today his mind is already set on bettering his rival’s world record this season as he looks forward to racing against him in the International Association of Athletics Federation’s new Diamond League.

April 26 - The London Marathon have officially complained to the independent television regulator Ofcom over a programme broadcast by Channel 4 earlier this month which claimed that the majority of the event's turnover is eaten up by salaries and undisclosed costs.
