The Shayba Arena will host the Four Nations tournament, an important test event for Sochi 2014August 14 - Sochi 2014 have released tickets for the Four Nations ice sledge hockey test event tournament later this month, which will see some of the world's top sides face off in the Russian city where they will be going for Paralympic gold in six months' time.

The host nation will be joined by Canada, Norway and the Czech Republic at the tournament, which will take place at the Shayba Arena, where ice sledge hockey will take at during the Paralympics.

After making its debut at Lillehammer 1994, sledge hockey has become one of the highlights of the programme, and with the world's four leading teams taking part in this test event, the tournament promises to be a closely fought one.

World champions Canada will go into the Four Nations tournament as favourites as they look to prove their credentials and step up their claim to win back the gold medal that they lost to the United States in Vancouver.

The 1998 Paralympic gold medallists and 2004 world champions Norway will also provide tough competition in the tournament, whilst Russia and the Czech Republic will face off again following their bronze medal match meeting at the 2013 World Championships, in which the Russians prevailed.

The 7,000 seater Shayba Arena was built at a cost of around $27.5 million (£17.6 million/€20.6 million) and is also scheduled to host ice hockey at the Winter Olympics, though after the Games it is likely to be dismantled and transported to another city in Russia.
