Innsbruck 2012_free_tickets_posterDecember 22 - Innsbruck 2012 is today giving away 22 free tickets to the first ever Winter Youth Olympics, to coincide with the "22 days to go" point before the start of the Games on January 13.

Innsbruck has already released almost 200 free tickets to the Games, which run until January 22.

There are two types of tickets on offer, ones for access to the Opening or Closing Ceremonies, or venue day tickets which are valid for any event taking place on the day the ticket is valid for.

Individuals can apply for a maximum of two tickets, whilst outdoor events can be watched for free without the need for a ticket.

With just over three weeks to go, Innsbruck is shaping up well for the first ever Winter Youth Olympics.

Last year Singapore held the first ever Summer Youth Olympic Games, and the next Youth Olympics will take place in Nanjing, China in 2014.

Fans who miss out today can still get their hands on the final 11 free tickets, when they are given out on January 2.
