Primo Kozmus_27-10-11October 28 - Slovenia is the latest nation to select a site for their country's house during London 2012, opting for a location in the bustling King's Cross area of the city.

Slovenia House is set to be a temporary pavilion in this zone, north of the city centre and adjacent to St Pancras International, departure point for the Javelin high-speed trains that will service the Olympic Park.

As such, it appears strategically located to attract spectators heading to and from Olympic and Paralympic events.

The choice emerged during a function this week at the small country's London Embassy near the Houses of Parliament attended by Sebastian Coe, the London 2012 chairman.

Also present was Primož Kozmus (pictured), Slovenia's Olympic hammer-throwing champion, who should again be among the country's main hopes for a medal next year.

It also emerged that the Slovenian gymnastics team is likely to base its pre-Games training camp at Maidstone in Kent, to the southeast of the UK capital.

Slovenia won five medals, including Kozmus' gold, at the last Summer Olympics in Beijing in 2008.

This time around, it is thought that their team might contain as many as 160 athletes.
