Jackie Brock Doyle at London 2012February 14 - London 2012 communications director Jackie Brock-Doyle has been appointed as the new chief executive at The Good Relations Group, the public relations division of Chime, who recently purchased Sebastian Coe's company in a multi-million pound deal. 


Brock-Doyle, awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the New Year's Honours List for her work on last year's Olympics and Paralympics, is due to start her new role in June.

She will also be lending her expertise to CSM Sport & Entertainment, Good Relations Group's sister sports marketing division within Chime, which is chaired by Coe under the terms of the deal he negotiated when he sold 93 per cent of his company, the Complete Leisure Group Limited.

Brock-Doyle was voted PR Week's PR Professional of the Year 2012 for her work on the Olympics and Paralympics and together with the work of her team was awarded the PR Week Campaign of the Year 2012  

In 2011 she was voted Corporate Communications Professional of the Year and, in addition, she is named in the Holmes Report's "Influence 100", a list of the world's most powerful and influential communications professionals.

She will report to Kevin Murray, the Good Relations Group chairman, and work closely with Chris Warham, the chief operating officer. 

"At [London 2012], Jackie was central to the planning and delivery of one of the largest communications exercises of the past decade," said Murray.

"With that and the prior in-house and consultancy experience Jackie has accumulated in various regions of the world, she will bring phenomenal expertise, energy and international experience to our offer.

"It is a little over six months since we parted ways with the Bell Pottinger Group.

"In that time we have created a new brand, a new management team, a new agency positioning and we're now delighted to announce our new CEO."

Brock-Doyle had previously worked on the Sydney 2000 Olympics and the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

She had been one of the first employees to join London 2012 in the early stages of the successful bid. 

"Working on the London 2012 Games over the last decade with so many brilliant people has been incredible," said Brock-Doyle. 

"I am now looking forward to my next challenge and am delighted to be joining the Good Relations Group.
