CISA have confirmed the list of speakers for the event in the Rwandan capital of Kigali ©CISALamine Diack, the President of the International Association of Athletics Federations, leads the confirmed list of speakers for the ninth edition of the Africa International Sports Convention (CISA), due to take place in the Rwandan capital of Kigali from March 11 to 15.

The stellar line up also includes honourary International Swimming Federation President Mustapha Larfaoui and Fekrou Kidane, who is a former International Olympic Committee chief of staff now working as a senior adviser for the African Football Confederation.

Other notable names include Ahmed Fouly, President of the Union of African Sports Confederations, Rodney Swigelaar, regional director for the World Anti-Doping Agency in Africa, and first vice-president of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa Mustapha Berraf.

The eagerly-anticipated Convention will also be attended by a host of the region's sports journalists as the event will feature what is set to be a record-breaking sports journalists' seminar.

As CISA draws ever closer, the organisation announced last week that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Francophone Organisation (OIF), which will see the OIF provide support to the event.

CISA will bring together more than 400 sporting leaders, decision-makers, practitioners and athletes from across Africa and the rest of the world.

The Convention will include speeches from highly-influential African sporting administrators, as well as a CISA Kids Project, a Sports Ministers seminar and an induction ceremony into the Africa Sport's Hall of Fame.
