…insidethegames.biz are running a LIVE BLOG from the World Athletics Championships Budapest 2023?

Our reporter Patrick Burke has travelled to Hungary to bring you all the news, as-it-happens, LIVE from the media centre at the new 35,000-capacity National Athletics Centre on the eastern bank of the Danube River.

Covering all nine days of the event, the LIVE BLOG starts today.

Our LIVE BLOG will also cover the marathons and 20km and 35km race walk events which are set to take place in the heart of the Hungarian capital, with the start-finish area in Heroes' Square.

Around 2,000 athletes from 200 countries will compete from August 19 to August 27.
