…insidethegames.biz is running a LIVE BLOG from the World Sambo Championships in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan?

Our senior reporter Michael Houston has travelled to Bishkek to bring you all the news, as-it-happens, from the event taking place at the Sports Complex "Gazprom".

The LIVE BLOG starts today and includes the Opening Ceremony. It will cover all the Finals and Awarding Ceremonies and conclude with the Closing Ceremony on Sunday evening local time.

There will be seven categories for both men and women in Sport Sambo and seven categories for men in Combat Sambo, with 21 gold medals to be won in total.
