Gemili wins world junior 100m title in Championship record

Adam Gemili_12-07-12July 11 - Adam Gemili's extraordinary rise to sprinting prominence this season continued in Barcelona tonight as the 18-year-old Londoner won the World Junior 100 metres title in a personal best of 10.05sec – beating the Championship record of 10.09 set by Darrel Brown of Trinidad and Tobago in 2002, and also replacing the British junior record of 10.06 set by Dwain Chambers 15 years ago.
