October 2 - Luol Deng (pictured) made a successful return to action after two-and-a-half months out when he scored 15 points in the Chicago Bulls 105-94 victory over Indiana Pacers in a pre-season exhibition match at Conseco Fieldhouse tonight.

Sidelined with a stress fracture in his right tibia since playing 15 minutes on February 28 against the Houston Rockets, the 24-year-old Londoner was pleased to have 25 minutes on court.

The British international claimed afterwards that his leg felt fine.

He said: "A few times when I came to the bench I checked on it [his leg], not that it was bothering me.

"But it has been so long since I played.

"I felt a little winded, but it was good to get a rhythm going."

The injury forced Deng to miss Britain's matches in the European Championships last month.

He said: "I'm excited to be back.

"I want to be on the floor."
