MP & Silva will be distributing worldwide media rights for the league (pictured top) until 2016.

The Italian league is the highest club level competition in the country, with 12 teams featuring players from across the world, including the United States, Brazil and eastern Europe.

MP & Silva will support the Italian Volleyball League for the next four years

MP & Silva distribute media rights for a host of top sports competitions, including the English Premier League, the French Open tennis and the handball Champions League.

Their chief executive Andrea Radrizzani said: "We have been extremely successful in the last five years in distributing football rights and other European competitions in Asia, MENA, Europe and Americas.

The rights to distribute the Italian volleyball league include cable, satellite, betting, terrestrial, IPTV and mobile platforms.
