Lopez trio_8_March_March 9 - The Lopez siblings (pictured left) will be hoping that they can repeat their achievements of four years' ago, when all three qualified for and won medals at Beijing 2008, as they compete in the United States Olympic Trials for taekwondo this weekend.

The trials begin tomorrow at 4pm at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, as a host of competitors look to reach London 2012.

Steven (pictured above right), Mark (pictured above left) and Diana Lopez (pictured above centre) all took medals in Beijing and are hoping to repeat their historic Beijing feat.

Diana Lopez will be the top seed in the -57kg division that she took a bronze medal in four years ago, and will take on Danielle Holmquist.

The -67kg division sees top seed Paige McPherson, who claimed silver at the Pan American Games in 2011, take on Nia Abdallah, who missed out on Beijing after winning silver in Athens in 2004.

Terrence Jennings (pictured above in blue) is the number one seed in the -68kg category, and will take on Mark Lopez, who also won silver in Beijing in 2008.

The final Lopez sibling, Steven, will be looking to qualify for his fourth Olympics and will do so as number one seed in the -80kg category, where he takes on 24 year old TJ Curry, the 2010 US national champion.

The number one seed in each weight division will need just one victory to qualify for London on Saturday, whilst number two seeds need to beat the number one twice to make it.
