Badminton-England 29-02-12March 3 - Into Sport Group has announced that Badminton England has agreed to use the programme management tool Performance.

Performance uses Vanquish technology, and gives sports organisations the opportunity to provide a hub for athletes, coaches and support staff to record and analyse training and competition data.

Performance also gives its users the tools to create detailed log forms, messaging and reports, and is designed to be a hub for staff and athletes to communicate more easily with advanced calendar and file sharing tools.

The agreement with Badminton England makes this Into Sport Group's largest deployment to date, and by 2012 they expect 1,500 athletes, coaches and staff to be using Performance.

Badminton England's performance director Jens Grill said: "This agreement marks a big step forward for our programme.

"Performance will allow us to refine all of our current processes and provide us with a vastly improved way of capturing and analysing data.

"A system like this is a key component for the smooth running of our programme, and will lay the foundations for future success at Glasgow 2014, Rio 2016 and beyond."

Into Sport Group also provides technological support to the English Table Tennis Association and British Judo.

England Netball and Pentathlon GB also use the Performance technology, which is smartphone and tablet enabled, as well as providing an athlete fitness status tool.

Into Sport Group's founder Colin Miles said: "We are very pleased to announce this exciting new partnership, in what looks set to be the most exciting year to date, and the most exciting year of sport the UK has seen for decades.

"This partnership will deliver performance improvements and competitive advantage for Badminton England across the breadth of their talent and world class programmes."
