The Volunteer Hotspot takes place on the first Monday of every month at popular café SixtyTwenty in Innsbruck.

Those who attend are given the chance to chat, have a drink and meet other volunteers and members of the Organising Committee in order to build team spirit ahead of the 2012 Youth Olympics.

Applications to volunteer for Innsbruck 2012 will close at the end of this month on June 30, with each volunteer guaranteed a high-quality clothing set to wear during the Games and to keep afterwards, free meals during shifts, free use of regional public transport, a letter of reference and unique Olympic experiences.

Innsbruck 2012 is aiming to have around 1,200 volunteers working at the Games who are at least 18 years old on January 1, 2012 and must speak either German or English fluently.

Volunteers must also be available on a total of 12 days between January 10-24, 2012 - with the Games set to take place from January 13-22, 2012 - and willing to participate in at least two training sessions before the event, with international volunteers to receive distance training.

The Innsbruck 2012 Organising Committee admit they would love as many potential volunteers as possible to turn up to the SixtyTwenty café as their Facebook page said: "‎3rd Innsbruck 2012 Volunteer Community Hotspot tonight in SixtyTwenty.

"Come along from 19:00 for the next Volunteer Meet & Greet!

"See u there!"

Around 1,058 young athletes are set to compete in Innsbruck, which follows the success of the inaugural Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore last year.
