Centro Caribe Sports announced the Central American and Caribbean Fan Zone.CCS

Centro Caribe Sports has announced the launch of the Central American and Caribbean Fan Zone, one of the programmes of the "HUELLAS to Paris 2024" campaign, which will highlight the extensive journey of athletes from the organisation's member countries on their Olympic journey.

The main goal of the "HUELLAS to Paris 2024" initiative is to give visibility to the complete journey of athletes from the member countries of the organisation on their way to the Olympic Games. Through this effort, it aims to highlight and recognise the hard work and dedication of the athletes in their preparation and participation in the Olympic event.

For this campaign, the organisation has integrated a series of communication actions, including audiovisual reports, a countdown and digital postcards, combined with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to launch filters promoting the values of Olympism on the social network Instagram.

Centro Caribe Sports has been responsible for organising the Central American and Caribbean Games since 25 August 1959. One of its objectives is to develop and protect sport in the member countries through their National Olympic Committees.

"In Paris 2024, we want to unite a single feeling of inspiration, to feel the joy of our great Central American and Caribbean region," stressed Luis Mejía Oviedo, President of the Regional Sports Organisation of the Americas.

The dynamism of this Central American and Caribbean Fan Zone is based on bringing together athletes from the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) that are part of the Centro Caribe Sports. To this end, a special filter has been created that displays the HUELLAS campaign logo and promotes the Olympic glasses. Athletes can use this filter and share the image on their Instagram account, tagging @centrocaribesports. This digital interaction is open to all those who wish to participate.

With 70 days to go until the opening of the Olympic Games, the emotions are indescribable with each testimony in the reports that form part of Footprints, featuring athletes, leaders and coaches as protagonists. In this way, the campaign aims to share 600 pieces of content before the start of the thirty-third Olympic Games of the modern era on 26 July 2024.
