Orynbay and Ganemat Sekhon of India had both hit 50 out of 60 targets in the women's skeet final at the Asanov Shooting Club, but it was the home favourite who prevailed 2-1 in a shoot-off to take the gold.

Darshna Rathore doubled India's presence on the podium with 39 targets from 50 for bronze.

Kazakhstan also won the final event of their home World Cup in the mixed team trap, with Victor Khassyanov and Mariya Dmitriyenko scoring 142 to the 140 of Turkey's Tolga Tuncer and Pelin Kaya Rumeysa and 137 of Iran's Mohammad Hossein Parvareshnia and Marziyeh Parvareshnia.

There were also two gold medals for Italy in Almaty.

Tammaro Cassandro and Chiara Cainero edged past Kazakhstan's Eduard Yechshenko and Orynbay 41-40 in the mixed team skeet final, and London 2012 Olympic silver medallist Massimo Fabbrizi took the men's trap title with 46 targets from 50 to the 43 of Australia's James Willett and 34 from 40 of Kuwait's Khaled Al-Mudhaf.

Greece's Efthimios Mitas prevailed over Cyprus' Georgios Achilleos in a men's skeet final shoot-off after both had scored 56 from 60, and Mar Molné Magriñà led a Spanish one-two in the women's trap, scoring 42 from 50 to her compatriot Fátima Gálvez's 37.

Lonato in Italy is set to host the final ISSF World Cup Shotgun stage of the year from July 8 to 17.
