The European Taekwondo Union (ETU) has launched a channel on Recast, the subscription-free sports and entertainment streaming platform.

All ETU events will be streamed on the channel, the continental body has announced.

Fans who sign up to Recast can earn "Cast Credits" by watching adverts, sharing videos and inviting friends.

They can also top up their wallets directly with the credits used to access the live streams of ETU events, as well as other Recast content.

"The ETU has provided a unique service to the taekwondo community over a number of years by producing and broadcasting countless hours of live, subscription free, taekwondo content on its ETU YouTube channel," the ETU said.

"Funds generated through Recast's pay-per-view system will be reinvested, enabling the ETU to further develop and expand its broadcast coverage, showcasing more taekwondo content to fans around the world."

The first event on Recast will be the qualification tournament for the 2023 European Games in Kraków-Małopolska.

This will be held this weekend in Bucharest.
