Guochen Wang completed a clean sweep of aerials golds for China at the International Ski and Snowboard Federation Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships in the Austrian resort of Obertauern as he won the men’s individual event.

The day before, Wang had combined with Xuanchi Liu and Shou Chen to earn gold in the mixed aerials team event with a total of 262.22 points.

The United States trio of Connor Curran, Amelia Glogowski and Ian Schoenwald took silver with 244.97, and bronze went to Canada - represented by Victor Primeau, Charlie Fontaine and Anthony Noel - on 244.53.

Silver in the men’s individual event went to Volodymyr Kushnir, who had been in the Ukraine team that missed a mixed team medal by one place the previous day.

A score of 90.24 points ensured Kushnir came away from Austria with a tangible reward for his efforts.

Curran added a bronze medal to the silver he had won the day before as he totalled 88.12 points, with Canada’s Alec Haineault fourth on 85.65.

In the women’s individual final, Liu added a silver medal to her team gold as she finished on 78.75 points, behind her team-mate Meiting Chen, who won with 82.21.

Glogowski of the US also won a second medal as she finished third on 61.62 points, with Australia’s Miriana Perkins finishing fourth on 54.53.
