Brazil earned their third Copa America de Beach Soccer title at the Estadio Arena in Rosario with a 13-5 win over hosts Argentina.

Both finalists earned places in the 2023 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, set to be held in the United Arab Emirates from November 16 to 26.

Colombia claimed the third automatic South American qualifying place, and a first World Cup appearance, by defeating the defending champions Paraguay 7-5 in the third-place match.

Brazil, winners of the inaugural Copa America title in 2016 and who made a successful defence in 2018 before losing to the Paraguayan hosts last year, dominated the final.

They established a 5-0 lead in the first period through Ze Lucas, Edson Hulk, Jordan and Filipe, who scored twice.

Argentina scored through Ponzetti in the second period, but Brazil responded with a goal from Igor.

For Argentina, the additional goalscorers were Pomar, Rivadeneira, Medero, and De Sosa.

Colombia earned a landmark World Cup qualification thanks to Ossa, Cordoba, and Acosta, who all scored twice, a single goal from Clavijo.

For Paraguay, Martinez scored twice while Cantero, Rolon, and Benitez each scored once.

Uruguay secured fifth place after a 5-4 win over Chile.

Laens scored two of their goals, with others coming from Di Bello, Cazet, and Quinta while Tobar scored all four goals for Chile.
