As well as the two events she won, Wollaston also finished 11^th in the elimination race, and third in the concluding points race to end on 139 points overall, in the last race of the three-day competition.

Silver went to Victoire Berteau of France whose best performance came as she took victory in the elimination race.

Berteau also placed third in the tempo race, as well as sixth in both the scratch and points races, to finish with 131 points.

The podium was completed by Amalie Dideriksen of Denmark whose best performance came in winning the points race.

Dideriksen produced a consistent display throughout the four events, finishing second in the tempo race, third in the scratch and fifth in the elimination race as she concluded with 116 points.

On the final day of Germany claimed gold in the men’s madison, after totalling 44 points.

The silver medal went to the Netherlands who finished on 38 points, while New Zealand completed the podium with 35 points.

Reigning men’s Olympic sprint champion Harrie Lavreysen of the Netherlands took the men’s sprint crown, overcoming Mikhail Iakovlev of Israel in the race for gold in straight rides.

Bronze went to Kaiya Oto of Japan, who defeated Rudyk Mateusz of Poland in straight rides.  

In the women’s keirin, double World Championship silver medallist in the discipline Mina Sato took victory.

The Japanese rider triumphed in 10.956 seconds, with Nicky Degrendele of Belgium taking second and third place going to Alessia-Catriona Propster of Germany.
